Carry your own water: OtterBottle giveaway!

Congratulations to Alyjane who  said..."I love that some money goes to teh David Suzuki foundation and they that they look great, but I have to say, the fact that they are dishwasher safe is my favorite feature!!" You're getting an OtterBottle!

And while we're talking about water... remember OtterBottle?  Those awesome, uber-useful bottles from a Canadian company that come in most excellent, gorgeous designs? The ones with two lids - a screw cap and a sports top? The BPA-free ones, that are dishwasher safe?  The ones ranging in size from 500 ml to 1 l? The ones where a contribution will be made to the David Suzuki Foundation with every bottle sold? Yeah, I thought you remembered them. Well, I have a brand new OtterBottle right here to give away to a lucky reader.

Just head on over to the OtterBottle website and take a peek around. Then come back here and tell me your favourite thing about OtterBottles in the comments by Wednesday, April 28. The bottle will be given away by random draw and the recipient will be contacted via e-mail, so ensure you leave me a way to contact you. And, good luck!

Besides all the wonderful environmental & health benefits, and the huge selection of beautiful chic designs...I love the wonderful story that comes along with Otterbottles! Go Shannon! :-)

My favorite part is that they have a dragonfly design. I collect dragonflies and have been looking for a water bottle with one on it. Stylish and environmentally conscious. Win - win!

Between the cool designs and the great donations, how does one decide which is best? Actually, I like that they are dishwasher safe. I'm so tired of washing bottles by hand.

I love that this company was founded by an at-home mom entrepreneur. Such an inspiration for the rest of us!

i always appreciate a water bottle with a wide opening... so much easier to fill with ice when i'm at work... where i, coincidentally, just left my current Otterbottle... hoping it's still there when i go back on Friday...

I love that these come with two lids, depending on what kind of mood I'm in & what I'm doing. Also, love that they're dishwasher safe. I'm hesitant to put my enameled bottles in the dishwasher, and always having to pull out the bottle brush to clean is a downer!

Funky designs, dishwasher safe, named after a hilarious semi-aquatic animal? What's not to love? Not crazy about it being manufactured in China, but hey, at least they're not headed for a landfill! Sadly, they are not available in my area and I don't use credit cards, so this is my only hope for getting one :)

My favorite part of these bottles is that they are from Canada! They don't have to be shipped from over seas like many other bottles!

Gosh, I LOVE the designs. This is so much more hip than drinking water out of a plain old plastic bottle...and obviously way better for the earth. Who said eco-friendly had to be frumpy?

Their designs are gorgeous and I love that they're dishwasher safe. Plus, being made in Canada, how can you go wrong?!

Love the designs and the dishwasher safe stainless steel.

However, while a Canadian company, I am still uncomfortable with them being made in China, a country with a not so great recent track record for quality issues. Besides, these bottles have travelled an awfully long way in the manufacturing process.

I love the designs but I also love that they come in a variety of sizes!

Those are the nicest designs I have seen in water bottles ever. Although these are still manufactured in China (such is life and reality), I do like that the company itself is Canadian.

I love these OtterBottles, but you know what they don't offer is a stainless steel, BPA free baby bottle. I've been looking for an alternative to plastic and glass baby bottles and I finally found Eco-Baba.com which offers pure, FDA approved, no inside lining or outside paint/lacquer bottles for my baby. I'm so glad that I found them and thought that I would like to share so that others may be happy knowing that there's an alternative to plastic and glass baby bottles.
