Kootsac Re-usable Produce Bags

Rounding out Etsy week here at ecochick: So, I know you've been working hard at accumulating some great, robust shopping bags to take with you to the grocery store or wherever else it is you might shop. But then, you get in to the grocery store and go to pick up some fresh green beans, or perhaps some new baby potatoes, and you end up needing to grab a plastic produce bag. Foiled!

Well, not anymore. Kootsac has got you covered. With a range of lightweight, sturdy bags that are suitable for all kinds of food, you'll never need plastic again.

She's got nice big produce bags, bulk food bags in all sizes for things like flour or nuts or whatever else you may buy in bulk, and big tote bags to help you carry it all away. The bags are reasonably priced and uber-useful - check them out!

Thank-you very much for featuring my Kootsac bags. Someone who purchase from me today said that she found my bags on your website.
Great website BTW:)

ACk! For the last six months or so I've been using my new reusable grocery bags but then I get to the grocery store and I don't want to use those little plastic produce bags either, and kept wondering what type of bag to get for produce. This is my first siting of a produce bag...thanks for that!

My husband and I just put the loose produce in the cart and carry them home in our reusable totes. We figured why put a bag in a bag? Especially since it's all washed before we eat it.

I do that as well ecomama, for stuff like potatoes or apples or larger stuff. It doesn't work so well for stuff like beans or peas or mushrooms though, which makes these bags really useful.

There is another awesome BC company with reusable produce bags called lioli http://www.lioli.ca/
They are unbleached cotton with a drawstring and they have seriously changed they way I buy groceries! They also sell very cool canvas grocery bags in cool colours and designs that are the BEST size...I am so tired of those puny grocery bags out there!!!!
